Sooo nice. Did you use stabilizer on them first?
|
I just love it!!
|
How cute!!! You did a good job. What did you use to stabilize it with?
|
Ok, this is something new to me. What is generally used as stabilizer for knit pieces?
The quilt is great! So many beautiful T-shirts. |
Yes,I did use a stabilizer first.I used an iron on fusible stabilizer.Light weight.

Love your t-shirt quilt. All my t-shirts look like rags compared to yours.

I went to the flea market and bought all new ones for my quilt theme. It was a Florida summertime theme.

Very pretty. I think this is the "girly" T-shirt quilt I have ever seen and I really like it, thanks for sharing.

I have made two t shirt quilts and learned the hard way.... First one, I used the fusible stabilizer, Cost a lot and lots of work and made the quilt really heavy. Second one, I starched the daylights out of the shirts, then cut them.... Worked much better. I machine quilted just horizontal and vertical lines, about 4 inches apart. I did find that it was way easier when I had to adjust the fabric if I was off. Here is a pic
