This year I completed 3 quilts as birthday gifts for my daughter and two grand daughters. Jessica's was started by her mother when she was expecting her first baby , and got the 'nesting' bug. That baby has just turned 8, but now has the quilt which I was asked to complete, so it carries love from 2 people to our Jessica. For her sister I made a quillow using scraps from her xmas gift quilt. While my daughter Elizabeth had hinted for a black and white quilt, but I added red as well. All were delivered last week and each was received with appreciation. That makes it well worth the effort.
