This is made from 2 Moda scrap bags that I cut into 2 1/2" jelly roll strips with my June Tailor strip cutting mat. I was able to find some of the fabrics from the front to use for the back and sashing. It ends up being a scant queen size. I quilted it on my LA that I got in April, doing a free motion kinda leafy design with Valdani Hand Dyed Variegated cotton thread in Countryside color. Hope you like it. I will just roll the backing to the front for the binding since I don't have enough of anything else left.

Very pretty.

Love it. Were your 2 1/2" strips all different lengths? Love the way they all 'fell' together. Very nice on the quilting, too, not too heavy (the way I like it). That would look great on my sofa (hint, hint, hint). Want my address? LOL

thats really nice i think you did a very good job

Thanks everyone for all the compliments. You really have to try one of these. I like the strips sewn at an angle but since this fabric was only 36" I decided to do them straight. I also have one posted that I did in flannel. I did that one in one day. Check it out; I think it is titled "my flannel strippy scrappy quilt in 1 day with fleece backing quilt". They are just so much fun to do and the results are so speedy. And they look impressive even though they are just straight sewing.
