Need help on how to quilt this please
1 Attachment(s)
I found a strip of fabric at my local thrift store. It has 6 panels enough to make 3 Christmas tree skirts. Which will be great because I get in my church's Christmas craft festival in Nov. But, after sewing the halves together I can figure out what to do. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Debbie B

I'd start in the center and quilt some circles there. maybe a circle and feathers around that. then do some quilting around the scenes, FMQ maybe. lovely panels.

yes some thing with curves in it

I've gotten fairly good with a swirly type of thing and I think you both may be right around circles or curves for the center. I wish I was good at feathers, but I'm not...yet... :) What to do around the houses confuses me. Unless I just outline the trees & houses?

I would start in the center and FMQ swirls like the north wind blowing OR swirls with stars. I would then outline stitch all the features on the outer ring, houses, trees etc. I would then add some details to the tree and houses if necessary. The last blue border I would straight stitch the first edge and then loops or pebbles in the blue. It is a very pretty print!

Start by cutting a circle and split to put it around the tree!
