Those quilts are so pretty! To be honest, I would not add buttons. It would weigh a ton and they would have to be replaced now and then.

I would not add buttons,,,its so pretty,,,buttons would really add weight,and would need re placed from time to time..

I have a cathedral window in progress. It gets very heavy. I would not add buttons due to the weight. However, if I added buttons to your quilt I would use black buttons. Love the fabrics!!
I second the opinion no one sees the detail. They are overwhelmed with the quilt as a whole. It is beautiful!
