Log Cabin or Pineapple.

They would work well in any type of scrappy quilt. Use solid or geometric to break up the floral. Also do a larger square, like 8" or so and sash with white, black or color of your choice. Makes a beautiful quilt and the sashing calms it down.

Log Cabin or scrappy 9 patch - maybe a double wedding ring ( they have an easy way to make them now ;) )

I saw a floral quilt that was really pretty. All the floral pieces were cut in a rectangle shape, all in the same width, but different lengths, example, 4in. x 3in., 4 in. x 6 in., 4 in. x 2 1/2 in. Then each piece was sashed with dark green. Then you sewed the rectangles with sashing in rows to make the length and width you want. I thought it really looked good.

I go out to buy floral fat quarters in hopes of someday making a floral log cabin. The choices are endless, just pick a block or two and start sewing. Floral's look great in almost any setting.
