nephew's pillows

My 14 year old great nephew sometimes likes to sew. The other day he was watching me make a baby quilt with teh 3-D pinwheels and asked how to make them. I showed him, and he got started with something. He also used some left over 9 patch blocks that I had and put these 3 pillows together. Do you think he did good?
