I started this top on Sunday. didn't think I really liked it. Then I looked at it on Monday night and I love it! I took this picture before adding the outer border, which is the same black batik as the inner border but wider. I need to buy some backing fabric and then baste and quilt. Most of the fabrics are my hand-dyes with some batiks added in. I found the pattern in one of my Mom's quilt books: Simply Charming Collection by Moose on the Porch Quilts.
