Here's the double-wedding ring quilt I made back in 2000 for a wonderful young German couple who lived with us for a year. I've since made (much simpler) quilts for their twins, and am struggling over a lone-star for their daughter.
As promised I am also including the templates used, so you can see how there are no curves. Just, um, TONS of small pieces. Each 12-inch square contains 88 pieces. There is NO fast-quilting in this beast. What's really groovy about this DWR quilt is that the "background" is another set of rings, so it's really a double-double wedding ring quilt. This is very interesting to me. I am wanting to do one out of teal fabrics, king-sized. How large are your blocks, if you don't mind me asking. Thanks
