I finally finished both Hallowe'en costumes I've been working on for a couple of weeks now. It's so hard to get anything done around here since I work 2 jobs :hunf: my sewing rooms looks like a tornado hit, I have seriously never seen a messier room in my life and I'm too embarrassed to post pics for you guys, lol!
Anyway, here are my 2 costumes for a party tonight (cutting it close, eh?) The shoes are red and sparkly now, not just black :) This one is just the pic on the pattern because my bf is not here to model it for you, but it looks just like the red one, top hat and everything :) |
Turned out great! How brave of you to use checks!

brave?
Is it supposed to be harder? I mean, it wouldn't look like a dorothy costume without the checkered fabric, but I didn't have any trouble lining stuff up, if that's what you mean... *confused* lol Anyways, I'm super happy with the way it turned out, thanks for the compliment :) |
Cute costumes! Glad you got them finished in time for the party. Have fun!
On a lighter note--I think it is funny you made a Dorothy costume and then stated your sewing room looks like a tornado hit it!!!! LOL |
