I finally made a purse that I will actually use. I'm very proud of it because it's exactly what I have been wanting for a long time. I could never find anything that truly suited me, so I made my own purse with a center zipper compartment. Thanks for viewing. :) No pattern used.

I did because I didn't want a cumbersome fastener and it's makes for quicker access at a checkout stand. :)

I have a similar larger tote, purchased years ago, with dowels instead of elastic. I use it ALL the time and have copied it in smaller versions. Yours is beautiful. After seeing yours, I may try my next one with elastic. thanx for sharing.
