I didn't enjoy working with these colors as much as the blue and yellow one, but I try to make them personal in colors the couples like.. It is also a "Bits and Pieces" top was finished in March and quilted labor day weekend and hand sewing of binding and label just finished 5 min ago

Great quilt! They will love it! And I know what you mean, I have a hard time working with something if I dont like the colors.

Those colors are interesting. It catches your attention. I like it the more I look at it. Autumn colors, perfect for this time of year. You do beautiful work and I love the writing around the edges...cute!!

This one I called his mom, who was our friend, I don't know Kimberly, and asked what colors they liked. Of course she didn't have a clue but said that he had a brown couch they had bought and he loved the contrast of creams and browns. I was kinda stumped and then went through their wedding registry again saw something (a towel maybe) they had registered for in a pale sage green, so the green was thrown in. It took me a while to work out the colors on this one, it just didn't flow for me. I try to pick colors out of their registries to get something I think they would like, some of these kids I know better than others and it is easy to get the color choices down, but when the kid I know is the guy, they never talk to their moms about their favorite colors!!!
