This is one I quilted and bound myself. Those are Prairie Points around the border.

the Arrows point the way! I like the smaller prairie point you've done - adds a lot to the look of the quilt. It's just beautiful - lots of celebration going on! I really like it.

i used my Janome MC6600 for the whole thing. i've had it since November and love it to pieces. :-) the prairie points are bulky but not as difficult as i thought they'd be. i made them the traditional way - from folded squares. the next time i make them i plan to make them from rectangles folded in half lengthwise, stitched down one side, then turned right-side out to make the pyramid. i thing working with less bulk will make it that much easier. |
