Opinions wanted
 

This is a quilt I started several years ago. I put it away when I started sewing for the kids charity I support and forgot all about it. I found the blocks when I moved into my quilt room but just found the pics. Let me know what you think. I didn't think I liked it when I had made the blocks but now see it in a different light and think I will finish it.

I love this color combination - recently made a Bento Box pattern out of it. Please finish it - It's begging to be finished! Put a nice dark border around it to stop all the action and I bet you will see it as the piece of art it is!

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I'm afraid I don't know the name of it. I saw a picture and drew my own pattern. I drew the blocks 20" at first but was worried they might warp so made them smaller. I think that was why I didn't like it when I'd finished the blocks.

I like it! Just goes to show, don't be discouraged if you don't like a finished project. Sometimes you just need a break.

I tend to stick to traditional blocks. But, when you put red with black and white, I love them all. Of coarse red is my favorite color. I think this one definitely needs to be finished. Love it!!! I wish I could step outside my box.
