I think I was sorta aware of the Orca Bay mystery quilt at the time, but, I just stumbled on this thread and I am blown over by all of your quilts! I love scrappy quilts and have followed Bonnie's blog off and on and want to do one someday. What encouragement you all are! I will look often to see your pictures.

I decided to add black border, star print border and another smaller black border. The print star border is a piece of fabric I purchased at Goodwill. It is called Dream Spinners for VIP, Cranston Print Works. The stars glow in the dark! I am going to bind it with the pink batik fabric that I used in the Ohio Stars centers.
First picture I took outside. Had to do it quick before the rain starts in again. Second picture shows the top layed out on the bed, you can see the stars fabric better. Third picture is of the Quilt Inspector doing her job yesterday when I was sewing on the borders. I will sandwich and begin quilting tomorrow. Whooo Hoooo! |
nice job. congrats on finishing your top!!! for some reason you can see the colors better with it on your bed.
what is it about cats and quilts? they just seem to go together.:D |
It looks great! Congrats on finishing it.

Oh you ladies are inspiring.

That turned out beautiful. I finished mine, but it is in a box until I have time to get it sandwiched and quilted. I keep telling myself to get busy on it, but other things are keeping me busy!!!
