I didn't use starch because I didn't want it stiff for folding. It is two layers of fabric sewn together around the edges then turned right side out so it's thick enough to stand on its own.
There are 6 of these in the Gladiolus quilt block, not 4 like I thought. |
How fun!! I love it that they are going into a quilt ... That will be stunning.

Beautiful, Pam. I think I have that book, now to find it and DO SOMETHING! Thanks for sharing and getting my interest piqued again!

Love how you used two fabrics. It is very lovely. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

Very Pretty!

They are so pretty! If you use them in a quilt, how do you clean it? Would it be washable?
|
Gorgeous!! Will this be another quilt??? :D :D :D
|
Very pretty! Did you use cotton fabrics? They look like silk...
|
If they were in a quilt it would probably be one that wouldn't be washed though I don't see why it couldn't be. There's nothing holding them in shape other than how it's folded and they are sewn down. The book has them as individual quilted blocks and wall hangings.
It's cotton fabric with a smooth feel and metallic threads in it. |
Absolutely gorgeous!! I love it :-)
