Lovely blocks. I suggest you add a border or two to make a candle mat, or make two more like the first and add sashing and a border or two for a table runner. They also make awesome place mats. I just love orphan blocks. Yours are too cute to waste... finish them with batting and backs and use them all over the house! ;o)

I have a lot of orphan blocks. I used to have an internet quilt site in which I taught basic quilting skills.

very nice i just made a orphan block into a block quilted it then sewed on a bag i got turned out great

I've used some of my orphan blocks for pot holders/ hot pads. My kids love them. I'm thinking of making some for door prizes and a bazaar. My oldest daughter thought they were to pretty to use. If she doesn't use them her son will use them for snack mats.
