Finally finished and ready for the long arm lady of quilting. Sorry for the picture quality, cell phone is all I have at the moment. The quilt is so big that you can't see the corner blocks at all and will cost me a fortune to get quilted, but it is for my sister and she is worth it (she made me a stained glass wall hanging with our last name). Good thing you can't see too close....you can't see my mistakes. I hate pinwheels.

Looks pretty but send a bigger pic when you can. I have trouble picking out mistakes when I know they are there and it doesn't matter anyway!

What a great quilt. I am sure your sister is going to love it no matter what. Everyone makes mistakes. Heck I know I am good at them. lol But that just makes life interesting.

No mistakes in quilting.....it's character. Very nice, thanks for sharing. :)

Looks marvelous! We are our own worst critics. I'm sure she'll love it and won't see any mistakes because she'll see that it was pieced with love.

Wow, your sister is a lucky lady, it looks like a beauty to me. Is that the Thimbleberries pattern? I was just looking through one of my Thimbleberries books this evening and I seem to remember that name.

yes, it is a Thimbleberries pattern. It was easy for the most part (pinwheels are the bane of my quilting existence) and really didn't take long. It is a monster size tho, covers a kingsize bed very well, way too big for me to quilt on my machine.
