I LOVE    that quilt! Your fabric / color choices are terrific, and your work is very precise. Well done!! 8)
I don't suppose there is any chance you would share that great pattern with us? (hint, hint.... but no pressure!) |
This is a adorable quilt and very precious for a little baby.

Very pretty... Lucky baby who gets it to snuggle in.
That is so nice that you make the quilts for the new church babies. |
Thats looking great! I like to make baby quilts too and make them to send to Project Linus. I tried the paper piecing and did use a block from Carol Oates (thats right I think)..anyway..it was lots of fun. As soon as I finish the 2 WIP I have right now..maybe I'll try this heart block now that I've seen how great yours turned out

Wow!! seven new babies! So very sweet of you to make each new baby a quilt to welcome them to the world. This is one of my favorites of all your pieces I've seen so far!

Beautiful! Excellent choice of colors, too!

cnolan, thanks for the kind words. it was a fun quilt to make.
the name of the book where i found this pattern is "easy paper pieced baby quilts". it is by carol doakes. very cute quilts in this book. and they really are easy. and easy to tweak. |
I am so thrilled... I already have that book! 8) 8)
I have to tell you, though... I probably would not have given the pattern much of a chance, based on the fabric choices in the book. Yours are MUCH better!!!!! Thanks for helping me remember about a great book in my stash, and inspiring me to try one of the patterns in it! :D |
thanks cnolan, i too love this book. here patterns are great. very user friendly.
