I used the Alabama block in Carol Doak's 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars. The table topper tutorial is on her Yahoo group. Join us there!!

Would you believe this fabric was originally from my Christmas stash? Looking at it now, it doesn't even look Christmasy. I agree with others, it looks like a watermelon.

it's beautiful. Paper piecing is time consuming, but really does make a perfect looking block.

So very pretty. Nice pattern and colors. I admire those of you who like and do paper piecing. I just can't seem to develop a liking for it.
