Kalona is just about 30 miles sw of Iowa City and we are 60 miles straight south of Iowa City.

It takes me about an hour to get to Kalona from home. They have some interesting stores. They have a couple of my favorite fabric shops. They are not cheap but I can find the tiny print I need there.

Thanks they will. She buys everything I take up. I have been selling to her for 11 years so I know what she likes and what sells for her.

I take it up and she hands me a check. I do like that!!!

My only problem is and has always been keeping up with what she needs. Tho we had some major flooding last fall and thousands lost their homes in the all the counties around here so business was very very slow last summer and fall. There was only one road open to get into Kalona last fall. and there are 4 major roads going into town. The one from the interstate was closed and under water for several weeks.

So we all hope this summer is better but with the economy...
Yes she buys from me but if she doesn't sell then I can't fill the holes with new stuff!
