PEACE Wall Hanging
1 Attachment(s)
In celebration of Peace week I thought it would be fun if my students made a wall hanging as a first project in my class. Usually they start with an apron but since they had already completed learning basic techniques, and could sew a straight line, I thought why not do something different. My girlfriend was visiting from Florida so we spent the weekend making kits, she was in charge of cutting out all the peace signs. This is the first one done and just too darn cute!

Very nice, love it when quilting is incorporated in the classroom.

Have a Blessed day Ellen |
This young lady is very proud of her accomplishment, and well she should be. What a cute project for young adults. They love 60's stuff (although I can't imagine why, I was there so I know how ugly some things were).

She looks proud! And she should be, as should her teacher, great work.

Sew cute! Sew California! Those students are getting a gift that will last them a lifetime. Sewing, quilting and appliqueing.
