I had a LOVELY time at the FOQ on Saturday with my Auntie Sue....second time there for me, but last year when I went I was just starting, so this time I understood so much more. And I learnt a lot from my Auntie, who has been quilting, amongst other needlecrafts, for most of her life. It was great to have someone to discuss the quilts with as we went round. We both got some good shopping in too, I bought a jelly roll in greens, so now have some inspiration to make myself a quilt for my bedroom with it.
Enjoy the pics, I apologise that some of them are repeated, but the flickr uploading tool kept crashing so I uploaded them twice to make sure! Pics are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/maryelizajade/ The pics continue on page 2 by the way |
