This is a quilt I made for my husbands grandmother for her 89th birthday. She is a quilter of many years but hasn't made any in a while due to her age. I am the only one in the family that has taken up quilting and the only one to make anything like this for her. She was so proud of it and told us she was going to take it to church to show those lady what real quilting looks like. Which made me laugh out loud. I wish I had gotten a picture of her with it. Don't know what I was thinking.
