Very creative! I love striped fabrics. I typically use stripes in bindings (straight and bias), sometimes, for a narrow border, but I love how you used them.

Great idea!!! Lots of different scraps could be used too in different colours. This quilt is going to turn out great, I'm looking forward to see it finished!!! :) Will definitively keep the picture for futures ideas. Thanks for sharing!!!

My way to cut them straight is to cut a snap then tear the rest of the cloth.
