Here are the pinwheels I've made for my GD's quilt. Now I need to find the fabric for between them, then the three boarder fabrics. Can't decide on what color to make those, but GD's favorite colors are pink and green so will aim there. Pattern has them yellow and blue.

Great start - maybe you could find a floral with lots of pink and green for the background fabric.
