Postcard for my Mom
2 Attachment(s)
I threw this together from a free PP pattern I printed off the internet. The picture didn't come out all that great and the rose looks better in person. I should have used alot of different shades of pink to make the rose better. My sons picked the fabric and wrote the message on the back. First one I have done and I finished it in about an hour. Got all the mistakes out of the way on this one...
Oh, and my mom can use it as a coaster or tiny mug rug. Postage was close to $2.00 as I had to send it as a "parcel." The Post Office workers said they had never seen one before. Hope it arrives safely. |
Re: Rose Postcard
I have read that fabric postcards like yours should be enclosed in envelopes for mailing to ensure their safe arrival at destination! |
Oops. I have a book on making quilted postcards and they have stamps placed directly on the postcard. I will know better for next time. Thanks for the advice.

What a great idea! I love it!

That is neat. I have heard of them before, but never made one.

I think it is a great gift. I'm sure your mom will love it. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice & she will love it - especially with the kids writing the message! I hope it gets there in good shape!
