I cut out 50 potholders from what I had in stash. I have made about 20 now and it is fun and I am using up my scraps. They have cotton batting and a piece of the insul bright in them and Zig Zag around outside and quilted x on them. hanger is with ribbon that won't ravile. thanks for looking!

You will be suprised how fast you will get rid of them. I put mine in with Birthday cards and in baskets to friends and relatives. They love them.

what do you find to be a good size?

Those are nice! Isn't it great to make smaller things now and again?

Thanks for sharing.

They are great! They would also make a good spot to practice FMQ. Have you seen the post of the easy casserole carrier? It only uses 2, 20 inch pieces of fabric and is fun to do. It was posted by GailB.

Nicely done. Good use of scraps.

Hi Grandma Cindy, I cut the fabric 8 and 1/2 inches. It has worked out 7 and 1/2 when finished.
