Bought these two with my gift cards today at Barnes and Noble.

Pretty Little Potholders is a great book that was recommended to me for making potholders. I am liking the projects so far as I flip through the book.

Quilting For Peace: Make the world a better place one stitch at a time is an awesome book that the same friend recommended that I get. It has some great charities in it that you can send quilt blocks or quilts too.

I know that many of you on here donate quilts to local charities already but I just thought there might be some on here who could use this book as much as I can. :)

Hope, Love and Peace for the 2010!~

Both great looking books! My wife has a potholder book that I really like as well, I made several from it. Enjoy! :D

I've had Pretty Little Potholders out from the library. I really liked some of the ideas in it. I haven't seen the Quilting for Peace book yet, but it looks intriguing.

can't wait to see what you have done.

Connecting Thread had it for $12. But I bought mine at Barnes and Noble so I paid $19 for it.

Yes I do use that if I will be using them to cook with. If not I just use regular batting and I stitch a small x in the corner so I know it doesn't have the heat resistant batting in it.
