Someone needs to smack me around and "suggest" that one or two projects at a time are plenty!

I'm really trying to send photos... I'll try again.

Here's the photos.
Here's what I decided to do with the light colored side of this quilt - I posted it the other day. It will have a border of the rose fabric. This is the pattern I using on the dark colors. It's called The Great Frameup and I saw it made up in a store in Columbia SC Here's the other side of the quilt. I just did 6 blocks to test it and made the photo from those 6. I think this is missing something, but I'm not sure what. Any ideas? Maybe something to brighten it up a bit? This is going to be a reversible quilt. The rose fabric print is the same print, but one is lighter than the other.

The quilts are beautiful. |
Your quilts are beautiful. I wish I only had 1 or 2 projects started.

they are all great quilt nice job
|
Beautiful! A two sided quilt? Have you decided how you want to quilt it yet?
|
Wow!!! I love them. The more The better. We need to be happy and not board. Only 3 ??????
|
WOW!!! I love both sides :D :D :D Great designs and planning, too!!!
The one you said needed something? I think it needs a different border instead of the floral. Maybe one of the darker colors to stop/contain all of the florals, they seem to spill out into the border and it takes away from the pattern... just my opinion...others here may have even better suggestions  |
I like both of them that is a great pattern.

I'm not sure how I'm going to quilt it yet, but my thinking is to try the quilt as you go method. I will not have funding to pay for professional quilting, so I'll have to do it on my Bernina.
Actually I have 7 quilts in progress, 5 queen size, 1 twin size, a wall hanging that I'm calling my Spirit Quilt. It will be about 45" sq and will be done mostly with fusing. I just got the steam a seam so now I can get to work on this one. I have one other one in my head. Thanks for the suggestion about the border. I'm going to do some more fabric hunting for that one! Thanks for your responses.... I'm loving this group! |
your doing an awesome job! i love them all
