Quilt for Co-worker's Granddaughter

A co-worker of mine has a grandbaby that is 2 yrs old but looks like she is 9 months old. I don't know what disease the baby was afflicted with but she is in need of a pancreas transplant. When my son passed away, I had his tissue donated because his organs were too far gone. Because of the tissue transplants and cornea transplants, my son has helped 80 people nationwide and as far as the Netherlands. This is why I decided to make a quilt for Gabriela. I am giving it to Gloria (co-worker) tomorrow when she comes to the office to pick up her check. I know she will be very surprised.

An early death is absolutely heartbreaking; not many people can retain the presence of mind to do such a wonderful thing for so many.
