My sons have established a scholarship in honor of their father (my former husband), who died in the WTC. I made this quilt for them to raffle, but we ultimately decided to just enter the names of those who contribute to the fund, and draw a winner (i.e., not formally a raffle).
I made this almost a year ago, and it was about 8 months at the LAQer waiting completion. If I were to do it now, I could have chosen a more complex pattern, but it's still kind of pretty. It was particularly fun making the little flag in the corner :-) 9/11 quilt [ATTACH=CONFIG]97510[/ATTACH] |
