I just finished this quilt. It is for my nephew and his bride. He grew up on the central California rivers, his parents own a white water rafting co. So after seeing Barnbums Kayak on the lake quilt, I got the idea to do "The River". I have always done fairly traditional quilts, so this one was a new style for me.
