Quilt for My Hairdresser
2 Attachment(s)
My hairdresser asked me about two years to make a quilt for her out of her daughter's baby clothes. Now the daughter is pregnant and expecting in August, so I finally got the clothes from her. What a time consuming project, but from the look on her face when she saw it, all the 31 hours I put into it, were totally worth it. She loved the final outcome. The center section were pieces of tops she wanted show cased. All the bright yellow came from one jumpsuit, and the rest was cut up into pinwheels and four patches. On the back I was given her favorite flannel baby blanket, and was asked to incorporate that. I don't have a picture of the back, but here's the front.
