Beautiful quilt, and nice of you to finish it for her, though my favorite part was the happy ending. One question though, is it all cotton? I’m just curious because of the wonderful sheen on the orange star. I’ve yet to work with anything other than cotton and have been wondering if I should.

I do not know if it is all cotton. The orange star was already on when I got it and I haven't had the time to ask grandma about it. I have posted a pic of my grandma under a picture post I did back when I first joined. I think it was under the heading An Example of my work, remember I am just beginning.
