This is one beautiful quilt, you did a fantastic job on piecing it. It would look great in my bedroom: Oak furniture and floors, cream colored walls. Sure hope you can make it work in your bedroom.

You are right, the border brings it all together. Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Love the colors and blocks, especially the second picture. Can you tell me the name of that block; the one with the brown star surrounded by blue? Thanks for sharing.

Love the look of it! And that border fabric is the perfect "frame" for it! Thanks for showing.

What's a little paint when you can show this quilt off in your bedroom. Go for it.LOL . Your quilt is just fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

Spectacular job! I love this top and yes the border just makes it sing. CW repros are growing on me. I wonder if they will start to wane in poplarity now that the 150th commerative year is over with. It seems more books and patterns and lines keep coming out so I hope they stay as I really like all the quilts I see made with them.

Lovely quilt! Was it a CW kit???

I don't think it is dull at all. I LOVE the Civil War fabrics, and think you did an awesome job!

A gorgeous quilt. Certainly deserving of a redecorating project.
