Last week I completed and posted the couch cover. Here is the matching one for our chair. I have been thinking of making these for years! I am so glad it is done. Now, on to my next project!!!

I have tons of this fabric left, and some other batiks left over from another project, so yes, I plan to make a quilt to go with it, and a couple couch pillows.

It is beautiful!!!

my mother in law would love your chair and couch. she love antique furniture. I love the batik fabric you are using to cover them.

Wow, what a great chair. I took half a class in upholstery once - long ago. I finally threw away the chair I was trying to re-do, but yours looks fabulous.

Nice job. I love the traditional style of the chair with the comtemporary look of the batik.

AWESOME!!! Love the look of it. Great Job! I agree with someone above....a quilt is needed to go along with the chair.

used to complete your awesome chair..........thanks, robin

How did you do this. I think this is a fantastic way to make a cover for your couch and chair. I have a pair of chairs that I would love to redo. Maybe I could do this. Is there a pattern you used or your own personal made one?
Pat

Pat, Sorry for the slow response. There was no pattern. I went online Did you get my text about the Dickens fair?and looked at similar products and then just made a quilt sandwich and quilted it and then bound it. it is basically a long rectangle for the back, seat and front, and then rectangles for the arm pieces. You just have to measure your furniture as you go.
