quilts for my 10yr old neices
 

Each of my nieces turned 10 this year and I decided to make quilts for both of them. One is a mixture of piecing and embroidery . The other is piecing and applique. The applique cats are a BOM from http://www.syverkstan.net/ and I added the pieced blocks to make the quilt bigger.

Great quilts!!! I'm sure they will love them. I also like to add embroidery to my quilts. It really adds a personal touch.

Beautiful and both unique. I bet these two gals are unique too.
