quilts for my 10yr old neices

Each of my nieces turned 10 this year and I decided to make quilts for both of them. One is a mixture of piecing and embroidery . The other is piecing and applique. The applique cats are a BOM from http://www.syverkstan.net/ and I added the pieced blocks to make the quilt bigger.

Great quilts!!! I'm sure they will love them. I also like to add embroidery to my quilts. It really adds a personal touch.

My one grand daughter would love the cat one. I'd made her one from the Caterwauling panel that she loves. Great fabric and pattern combos on both quilts. Your nieces will love them I'm sure. Thanks for sharing.
