I have here two partial quilts that I started many years ago and did not finish. I no longer have any of the fabric that was used. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can finish them?
Thanks Pat |
They are lovely for sure. I'm sure some of the very creative folks on here will suggest something that will strike your fancy.
Me...I'm blank this morning. |
Your points and starts are awesome

Woo! Love that first one!
I'd say pick a fabric for binding that is similar to a color in your quilt and go for it. |
I would finish the top one as is, unless you can find a white to match the blocks. I'm not sure about the second one. I would just take the top with me to the fabric store and match the best I could to whichever color I really wanted as a boarder.

very nice job!!

I agree with babyfireo4. I'd just bind the first one in white, and take the other quilt shopping with me to pick out some borders. If you have an LQS, they should be able to help you pick something that coordinates. Beautiful job!

I would make them as wall hanging. Very lovely.
|
Thanks sounds like a good idea

Those are both beautiful. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Gorgeous - I would take them to your lQS as previously mentioned and find a match for a border(s)

Pat, what gorgeous quilt tops!! The first one looks finished to me. I would take the second one and find a nice fabric for a border perhaps.
It doesn't look like you'll have any trouble :D Thanks for sharing your lovely work! |
See if you can find a Moda marble that would go with them.
|
Take both to quilt shop for needed border fabrics, and finish for lovely
wallhangings. Both are outstanding! |
Wow Great piecing on this quilt, It's just beautiful.
