I used a lint roller. I used up an entire roll but the quilt looks much better.

It is a beautiful quilt.

It's a lovely quilt! I have made a couple with flannel and mine frayed quite a bit too for a while. I have washed mine maybe 5 times and dried in the drier and don't get much anymore.

I agree with one of the other comments. ALWAYS use a commercial washer and dryer for the first couple of washes on these. I think your quilt came out very nice. I like the colors. I have made a couple of these and I know how much work it is just to clip all those edges. You did a good job.

So pretty...love how it came out!!!I am thinking of making a king size that way since its to hard to FMQ a King size quilt on my sewing machine. I love how one side is frayed and the other is not.

I do the same thing, BUT, I take it out of the washer and take it outside and shake it (a lot) to get many of the threads off and then I stop the dryer twice to do the same thing. Be sure to clean the lint filter during the drying process as well as after. Laundrymat is the way to go and I know they appreciate you running it through one more cycle after your done. Not to late to take it there and rewash. Remember, all that lint is a good sign you did a great job clipping the seam allowances.

In another post here, I read that someone put a microfiber cloth to "catch" all the loose threads. You might try that.
