Here is the quilt top that I made from the fabric that I didn't want to cut up. What do you think? First picture is the completed top and the second one is of the borders. Any ideas on how I should quilt it? Want something simple and not to complicated as I need to get this finished by Christmas.

First you need to consider what the batting calls for - for quilting. Then for the middle area maybe just outline the squares around the animals - after that not sure .

For the plain borders:
Rows of pine trees in one, rows of leaves in another. OR Deer slots (hoof marks) & bear tracks. |

I designed a set of antlers to use in one I made for a family member. It was 6 point Rack and I spaced it out with an ivy design. to fill up the quilt panels.
