I was really excited to participate in the blue and white star exchange. I made several different blocks, but just didn't feel like making all 12, or felt that they were not fancy enough to share. So I finally decided to use up some of the blue and white fabric that I had. I totally eliminated several scraps. Yoo-woo!!! Yiippee! Anyway, I finally made enough of this block to finish a whole top. Now I've just gotta get it quilted and give to my neice for her August wedding.
I used quiltinaday.com's pattern for Leah's Star (free) to make this. It was pretty quick and easy. Seesaw border Each star block. Not all are the same, but in the coordinating color family The whole quilt. It's bright and cheerful, just right for the sweet girl it's going to.
