Wow! Great quilts! Neat to see a quilt show, and not even be there! Thanks for sharing the pics! :)

Thank you so much for sharing all these beautiful treasures. Isn't is amazing how people interpret quilt designs and share so much of themselves through their work!

Cool! I really like the idea of tree skirt in not so Christmas-y colors.

Thank you for sharing all the beautiful quilts! I always look forward to seeing the blocks you make, and to see what others have shared and showed is really a treat.

the lady who had always organized the show is now in a nursing home herself and unable to do the show anymore. The lady who now does the organizing is not particularly liked and a lot of people don't bring their stuff because they don't want to deal with her. Which is sad.

I know Marsha(first organizer) worked hard to bring in lots of quilts and there would be so many that it was hard to find room to display them. The church has 4 rooms with dividers at the back of the vestibule(where the pews are) and they would be full to overflowing as well as all the walls would be covered. A few years back they had to drape quilts on the organ and the pulpit as well as the railings in front of the pulpit.

I just hope some of these quilters will come back next year and bring their quilts in again.

It is a great event. I hope they come back too.
