Same Dog Different Quilt

This is a quilt I have just finnished for my neice for her 40th Birthday, I think it is called "French Braid" or "Friendship Braid". I used just three fabrics, my neice is a policewoman, she works in the "Torres Strait Islands" off the far north coast of Australia, a very beautifull part of the world, the color of the quilt is the color of the ocean around these islands. Celeste my dog was over the moon by the response to her last photo I sent to the Quilting Board she had to be in this one as well |

I, too, like the colors of your quilt. I had to look close to see that it is a French Braid! I love it, the three fabrics give it such a different look!

The quilt is so beautiful! I don't think I would have thought of using just 3 fabrics, but you picked some goodies! And who could not be charmed by Celeste? Although, I have to admit her eyes are a little scary!!!!

I love the colors in the quilt - a very fitting color for the receiver to get... and what a cute doggie- Miss Celeste is of course the main attraction in every picture! lol I love them both...
