Selvage Christmas Tree mug rugs
 

I made some mug rugs with these selvage Christmas tree blocks. One will go to my Secret Santa swap partner, and I'm making one more to keep as a set of 2.

Those are sooo nice. I think I will start saving my selvages too.

These are very cute!! Tell me, what is the difference between a mug rug and a potholder? They look like they could be very nice Christmas potholders or hotpads as Mama used to call them.

Hey!! Not sure about anyone else but to me the Mug Rugs are a tad bit smaller than potholders and not as thick. Also now this is my opinion...but a hotpad is a little larger than a potholder. But I cook for an army so my pots and pans are like huge!! Ha!
