This is a quilt I finished, made from flannel, but looks like wool. Bought the fabric from my LQS. Wool is very expensive so who ever introduced this line of fabric has a good thing going!!

It looks like it would very warm. Your quilt is lovely.

You can get men's wool suits/pants/jackets and cut them up at the thrift store.... Just a suggestion if you like to use wool.

Beautiful, and my favorite block! This is the first block I ever learned to make when I was in a special art class in 6th grade. You don't know what a stretch it was for me to be chosen for that class, but I'm so glad I was! That was my introduction to quilting. I still have those first blocks. I am glad to say that my work has improved immensely since then!
