My mom picked this pincushion up for me at a yard sale. It had a yucky brown fabric that had seen better days so I recovered it. It is one of my favorite tools!
I collect 1930 -1950 stuff so this goes right along my other collectibles! Those are old sewing machine drawers in the background. I use them for storage. Would love to see your pincushions!! I took the pegs off of the left side because I load 9-10 needles and put them over that left side. That way they are ready when I need them and I don't have to take time to rethread every time I need a needle and thread. |

I just love your pin cushion treasure. It look's so nice with it's new upholstery!! :D I also love the older pin cushions, they have so much character, don't they? :D

I don't have such gorgeous pin cussions but I always use my thumb pin cussion. It reall work well when I hand sew.
