These are some blocks I've finished so far for my Lady of the Lake quilt done in Civil War reproduction fabrics. I'm addicted to these blocks! Choosing coordinating fabrics is half the fun! And these blocks go together pretty quickly with the triangles-on-a-roll! I've decided to make this queen size because I'm having so much fun with these. Might set them on point but I like them like this too. I sure don't know how I will quilt it yet, I'm not a fancy quilter. Any suggestions would be great! Pics didn't turn out so good as it was very cloudy out today and my little sewing room was kind of dark so I had to use bright light.
My first pics on here. Tried to get them all in the pic A little closer |
No, don't change a thing. This is marvelous as it is. I don't think I've seen one quite like it, and love it.
The colors go together well, they don't fight at all. Love it. |
Very nice. Can't wait to see this finished.

Wow, beautiful blocks!!! I'm a Civil War addict, so I love these. They are going to make a beautiful quilt! And I like the horizontal orientation as well instead of an on-point one.

Civil War fabric is a favorite of mine. Your quilt is wonderful, like it just the way you have it laid out.

Great job!
