Here is my finished top. I will be FMQ most likely in clear thread. Thank you for all the suggestions - they really helped me get a feeling for what I wanted to do :) Blue around the barn to represent the sky, the four plainer blocks in the corners, one inch to the bottom of the pumpkin as it was too short (cutter's error) I am sure, and a brown for the earth, then a green for the fields and lastly a blue border for the sky. I might have auditioned a nice sunshine yellow for the sun as the last border, but alas I have no nice yellows.
